Youth Who Code

THE GOAL

Getting 1,000,000 participants in STEAM

We use code to impact lives.

About UsYouth Who Code is a nonprofit dedicated to providing quality, hands-on technology education for children, especially underrepresented groups like women and underprivileged youth in Southeast Asia and Japan. By introducing more youth to technology, we hope to enlighten and inspire them to pursue a path with technology.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire all youth, regardless of their background, to make an impact on society by providing access to quality STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education. We do this by encouraging students to solve daily problems with STEAM, which allows them to leave our programs with the knowledge and power to invent their own solutions.

Our Vision

We envision a world where all youth can creatively implement technology to impact society and better lives.

Our Core Values

At Youth Who Code, we work with these three particular values at heart:

Involve.

We value diversity and we are dedicated to ensuring equal opportunity for people of all backgrounds, including young women and other underrepresented groups.

Inspire.

We aim to spark curiosity in coding and other related fields among future generations by hosting events and increasing awareness.

Impact.

We encourage young people to use their newfound knowledge and innovate in order to build a movement towards a safer, kinder and more promising tomorrow.
